Yes, I agree. Costs of solar have declined significantly. We are all-in on solar, but it’s important to understand the historical viewpoints on fossil fuels.

It energy dense all right. But if you take the weight of everything you need to convert the energy into useful energy, and all heat engine losses, the advantages quickly become much less significant. They are definitely much harder to transport than electricity. Much more job can be created if we move away from heat engines. They are easier to set up only because we ave done that we have gained so much expertise in that. Fundamentally, setting up a solar plant will be less expensive and faster than setting up a gas/coal plant
