I don’t think anyone, anywhere is getting $500/monthly per acre leasing their land to solar companies. That’s a per annum cost of $6K/acre, and over the life of the solar facility of 20 years, $120K/acre.

Our site is 80 flat, cleared acres in rural TN, 1/10th mile from the substation with large TVA lines bisecting the property, and another 45 acres wooded peripherally. For sale at $7800/acre with house. $500/acre/monthly lease would be giving us our asking price 10 times over 20 years.

Companies might pay this on an annual lease basis, but not monthly.
